Left-hander Cole Ragans and the Kansas City Royals are in agreement on a three-year, $13.25 million contract extension, sources tell ESPN. The deal covers this year and his first two arbitration seasons, giving KC cost certainty and Ragans a near-top-of-the-market arb salary.

News: Free agent reliever Kendall Graveman is in agreement with the Arizona Diamondbacks on a 1 year deal, sources tell ESPN. Graveman is fully recovered from a shoulder injury and adds a needed piece to the Az bullpen. The deal is pending a physical.

The Guardians have a deal with RHP Jakob Junis, per sources. It’s a one year deal, pending physical, that guarantees $4.5 million to the 32-year-old swingman.

Junis can work as a starter or reliever, throwing 265 IP over the last three seasons for the Giants, Brewers, and Reds.
