This post is without context, but I’ve noted the following: There is a “new Gnosticism” rising in the church that (1) seeks “deeper” meanings from the text of Scripture than exist; and (2) when “revealed,” said “deeper” meanings undermine the text or contradict it altogether. Followers of Christ: stop trying to put a “new spin” on the Word of God. It doesn’t need it and your “fresh take” is usually just an old heresy being repackaged as something helpful and “missed” by everyone without your level of “understanding.” So, stop it.
