@ruralj@NormOrnstein@jamespmanley Uhhhh…. Yeah. I do. If you are drawing that tight of a line, then you are trying to make a case that you are right, which is driven by ego, rather than making the case that you are correct — which is driven by facts.
@ruralj@NormOrnstein@jamespmanley Ummm, do you know what words mean? A "verbal" statement cannot be made if it is only in writing. I am not a conspiracy theorist, and ai have no idea what his condition is, but you can't claim that a written statement is a "verbal" statement, with any degree of credibility.
Good civil discussion between Senator Angus King and Senator Pete Ricketts -- but it couldn't be clearer that they are completely talking past each other and functioning in different realities. #PBNConference
@lawofruby Just saw your spot. I would remind you that the Trump administration does *not* “place a premium on pursuing leaks of classified information”. Pete Hegseth and Signalgate, and their total disinterest in that comes to mind. They are interested in going after enemies.
@VaughnHillyard The report on the 11th Hour was wrong. Burchette asked for UC, and was denied by the chair, because they are only entertained in the House if bipartisan leadership and the committee chairs/ranking have already agreed. Dems did not object. It wasn’t in order.
@chucktodd Hey Chuckles: that is only true if you only care about a *national* map. If you live in NC - a more or less 50-50 state - you just saw half the people have their elected representation shrink dramatically. Stop horse-racing, and think in practical terms for real people.
@ChrisCillizza I am not saying it is right. I am saying this is nowhere near the first time this has happened, and when you talk in moral absolutes during this administration, you sound like a political engenue fees out of their first poli-sci class at Sarah Lawrence. Perspective dude...
@ChrisCillizza Really? Should they? They should step on their message of just winning a ton of races and ballot initiatives by surprisingly large margins, and they should squander that on criticizing a safe Dem seat because the moral high ground is more important? You sound like an idiot...
@AstroOnTapDC I know we are in a shutdown now, but is there a reason (other than the obvious intimidation) that there haven’t been any events this year? I really enjoyed them and learned a great deal from the presentations.
@ChrisCillizza You mean the ones that had public meetings and votes of city councils, and due process and whatnot?
Lord you are reductive and fascile sometimes. It is okay not to post every thought you have before pausing to think about it...
@Timodc Just a thought: Maybe the shutdown conventional wisdom is wrong. The loser has never been about the side that won't provide the votes. Maybe to the voters, the side that is blamed is the one who looks the most like they are enjoying it. The ones who are mean and gleeful.
@sdhikers@UmpScorecards So, in your version of this, the pitch sequence to the next two batters is the same, and Heller stays in the game rather than Counsell bringing in Kitteridge a batter or two earlier? That isn’t how this works… Also, the umps aren’t the ones who didn’t hit with RISP.
@chucktodd Oh, please do shut up you irrelevant hack...
You have literally the worst political takes in the history of MTP, and you constant both-sides-erism has always shown you to be a Florida Republican who likes to pretend he is an independent. God, you suck...
@RepChipRoy You think that might be because they can't afford full time 24/7 reporters and it was probably one or two guys playing a pre-taped program with no available on-air talent due to under-funding? Good Lord. Underfund something and then blame it for not performing. Shocking.
