@arvidkahl Any cloud options is going to cost $1000’s a month - currently building a SaaS product myself with over 9 million records using Typesense, their search isn’t great for OR queries, but is very quick

Algolia charge by the million documents, think for us it would have been ~ $3k

Cloudflare has been ace when building our SaaS product, we handle over a million API requests a day. Literally 0 problems too.

@devagrawal09 My take from this is more on Vercel’s side, DDoS attacks being so common, and these platforms having the cash to mitigate them (take cloudflare for example, they protect against DDoS for free) how come Vercel didn’t consider a similar solution.

If not, I’d recommend signing up asap and doing so, they can hopefully mitigate that bill and handle any DDoS attacks
