Eisner Ownership -
✅️ Plucked an absolute gem of a manager out of thin air
✅️ Tied down coaching staff and players on longer-term deals
✅️ Improved Fratton Park (with further plans in place)
✅️ Own training facility
No debate. The club is on the up 📈

@LukeEllisPUP I understand the frustration with the finances mate. But in terms of competing, we’ve competed in almost every game this season bar the odd one (Bristol City comes to mind). It’s come down to missed chances and injuries. I just don’t think the divide helps us in a time of need
Slight overreaction post Shef Utd imo.
I get that the transfer window may have disappointed, but it doesn’t mean the Eisners don’t care.
I don’t like the idea of chucking money at players.
IF we go down, complain then. But until then, try back the boys.

@jordy_drapes In fairness the severity/amount of injuries we have had is abnormal. Any team would struggle to meet theirs targets with the constant setbacks. I’m not looking at the players, I’m looking towards what goes on behind closed doors - coaches, nutritionists, facilities etc
Is it the type of window to get excited over?Probably not.
Is it the type of window that could keep us in the division? Probably.
Yes it would’ve been nice to see Lang replaced properly but just back the recruitment.
Jan window -
Short term 7.5/10
Long term 5.5/10

@jordy_drapes Interesting, I’d say our squad is improving year on year and it’s the injuries that have been our biggest downfall.
I’d rather savvy signings than spending for the sake of it. I know Cullen said about substantial bids in this window - one to watch in the summer maybe
💬 John Mousinho: “You’d have to ask the Eisners themselves about that, but if they were looking to sell I’m pretty sure they would’ve have mentioned it and they wouldn’t be looking to spend what we might spend in January.”

At what point does a proper investigation take place into the number of muscle-related injuries?
This has been happening consistently for three years now - injuries at this frequency are not normal… 😵

To come away feeling slightly disappointed we couldn't steal a point says a lot.
Swift MOTM, we will miss him on Saturday...
Definitely positives from tonight - onto Stoke 🤝

@Pompey_Goals@PompeyPedro Everyone sees the game differently ofc! But for me, the goal capped off what was already a strong performance from Swift. Imo he's been judged more harshly than others. The outside noise from West Brom fans won’t have helped… Context matters – fans are quick to judge, is all!
The John Swift slander this season has been mad.
No.10 is always an overly critiqued position – but if you actually watch him, the clever stuff goes under the radar.
Buzzing for him last night - you could see what that goal meant.
Just needed time to adapt!

I can confidently say that if Yang starts moving the ball that split second quicker, we will see a very tidy player this season 🇰🇷
Technically, so good. Let him settle!

It felt like everyone at Fratton Park today felt this Wednesday side were going to be a walkover. Far from it.
The attitude shift from last weekend is absolutely outrageous.
Not good enough.
Onto Ipswich 👉

The obsession with spending big is ridiculous. Big fees don’t guarantee success...
Saydee ➡️ Segecic
Towler ➡️ Knight
Kamara ➡️ Swift
Lane ➡️ Bianchini
The “we need to spend £££” narrative is tiresome. Let the recruitment team do their thing - haven’t let us down yet!

As disappointing it is to concede 2 goals from set pieces. Norwich are a top 8 side with very good players.
On another day, we snatch a point against a very well drilled side! Onto West Brom 🤝
