I've heard that LOT, the Polish airline, gives its pilots boxes of chocolates for performing go-arounds as a way of encouraging safety.
Meanwhile, at Wellington Airport yesterday, this Air New Zealand Airbus A321-271NX (ZK-NND), operating flight NZ272 from Brisbane, ended up diverting to Christchurch due to strong winds.
