@CFDevelop My biggest problem with SOLID is how open for interpretation most of the tenets are, SRP is particularly ambiguous.

For a guiding set of governing principles that give rise to better architected code I much prefer CUPID over SOLID.

Seeing some bad takes implying AI just popped up and disrupted the scene.

Folks have been working on AI for decades. Heck, it was 13 years ago when we watched Watson win Jeopardy.

As the saying goes, sometimes it takes 20+ years to make an overnight success.

GPT4 doesn't change everything. Stanfords Alpaca does though. Currently GPT3's training costs have fallen from $4.6m 2 years ago to $450k today.
Alpaca, however has reproduced text-davinci-003 performance (GPT3.5) for $600.
