Today is National Cancer Survivors Day, a day to celebrate those who are battling, surviving and thriving after a cancer diagnosis.
I'm celebrating my son Carter who is now healthy and sending love to every family who is in the fight. 💙
As a program, we are at a loss for words.
The entire Michigan campus community & lacrosse family mourns the loss of Cooper Charlton.
A former @umcsg and @mgosaac president, founder of @UMichWSN, coach and student-athlete, Cooper was beloved by many.
Rest easy, Cooper.
Max Parrot was in hospital receiving treatment 3 years ago today for Hodgkin lymphoma.
Because his cancer was near his heart and lungs it was too dangerous for radiation. So Max underwent *12 rounds* of chemotherapy.
Now he's an Olympic champion. Amazing.
🇨🇦👊👏
Only cancer patients know what a difficult journey it is in battling cancer .We r lucky in many cases that ALL the bloodwork, scans , blood counts , Chemo etc leads to being cured . My Heart goes out to ALL of those that are not so fortunate . 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
When my family member goes for cancer treatment today, they will have to fight their way past anti-vax protestors outside of Toronto General Hospital. I am disgusted by their selfishness while people try to fight for their lives.
We all lost a good coach & most importantly a great friend! He was a players coach, and a player who made things look easy. Dean will be missed by everyone! Rest easy Coach! #deaner
I used to think "I quit because I don't like the coach" was top 2 worst excuses, but the more coaches I meet, and more programs I watch, I get it.
There's a decent amount of coaches that are terrible people and are ruining athletes lives.
At every level.
Here is the Moment I Got to Tell a Stoolie His Cancer is In Remission
A nice reminder to appreciate every day because nothing is guaranteed in life. You might as well laugh and enjoy it the best you can and not sweat the small stuff.
