Their defense of unbiblical lifestyles and slandering Christians, who have righteously called them out and asked questions, should cause you to not support them in any way.

More than anything, pray that The Lord convicts them and they repent of their ways. They need to be a good steward of what God has blessed them with, not conform to the world.

I've heard that some pastors in the USA are expressing concern that their congregations are sick and tired of a weak, liberal, woke version of Jesus.

They want a tougher Christ.

One who wreaks wrath upon anyone who isn't white, straight, cis-gendered, and male.

At least this is what I think they want.

This comes as no surprise to me.

Everyone has their own version of Christ.

It's my theory that we all choose a theology, and therefore a Jesus, who suits our biases best and serves our prejudices precisely.

The fact that people want a more hateful and violent version of Jesus betrays the fact that they are already hateful and violent themselves.

They just need a heavenly rubber stamp of approval.

So they create one.
