Just got off a call with RobtheBank & Ben Bader

Here’s a few things i’ve learned
- you don’t owe anyone anything
- stop giving a fuck
- the vision is key, become obsessed with it
- go fast and break shit, stop over planning
- it’s easier to fix stuff than to wait for the perfect things
- when in doubt shoot the fucking three
- just keep going, the world doesn’t care about you and that’s a good thing
simple but goes a long way
nothing makes me more P*SSED than going to a restaurant that charges you $70 for two burnt floppy pizzas and meatball with sauce straight from a can.
makes me want to rush home and get back to working harder so that i get myself to a point in life where spending $70 on two burnt floppy pizzas is pennies to me
i guess it all works out in the end 🤷♂️
i was just thinking about this expression “you wouldn’t put a bumper sticker on a bentley” and for a long time i agreed with that, but now i’m thinking to myself, “well if it’s your bentley, who cares?”
you’ll be 20 years ahead if you can do this one thing:
do not care what people think of you
understand that the uncomfortable decision now is the best decision that you can make
making the comfortable decision might feel good right now… but it’s going to make your life harder long-term overall. every decision counts.
when doing something bad you’ll think to yourself “oh it’s not that bad” and you start the cycle all over again
stop listening to the voice in the back of your head that talks you out of taking action. whenever you feel yourself feeling comfortable or feeling good pause for a moment and see if it’s because you were listening to that voice in the back of your head ask yourself the question “does this get me closer to where I want to be?” if the answer is no remember that you have a choice. if nothing changes, nothing changes.
becoming that next level version of yourself that makes $100k/mo is just thinking and acting as someone who makes $100k/mo would
every decision you make either gets you closer to your goal or further from your goal
