Missionary work is soaring to new heights. We are days away from the opening of 55 new missions. This brings the total number of missions to 506. There is a total of over 87,000 full-time missionaries. And we are currently being reinforced by the first wave of 18-year-old sisters beginning their service.
In coming weeks, we will have the largest number of full-time missionaries in the history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
These missionaries’ first responsibility is to testify of Jesus Christ to a world that suffers without knowledge of His divine mission. They invite people across the globe to become part of His true and living Church.
I affirm my testimony of Jesus Christ and the truth of His gospel. The Holy Ghost has given me a witness of its truthfulness, and I rejoice that I can spend my life in proclaiming it.
@conservmillen Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified
Is a child not the same species?
@RGIII Merry Christmas RG III from a fellow Christian! Love hearing your testimony! From the Book of Mormon, another testament of Christ, Alma 7:12 “and He will take upon him their infirmities… that He may know according to the flesh how to succor his people.” Christ lives!
If there’s even a hint that a coach might be looking at another job, many fanbases are ready to burn down their house and deny ever rooting for them. BYU is absolutely built different.
If you can’t make the College Football Playoff with 11 regular season wins in a P4 conference and your only loss being on the road to a top 5 team…. There’s something miserably wrong with the system.
BYU needs to be ranked in the Top10 on Tuesday.
They’ve earned it.
Utah is an AMAZING team, that BYU win was massive.
TCU is a very good team, BYU shredded them.
There are only 9 P4 teams with one loss or less, BYU has earned it.
They should be rewarded.
I’m no theologian, but one difference I notice between Latter-day Saints and many other Christians is this:
Latter-day Saints believe God will do all He can to save us, while others often see Him as finding reasons to keep us out.
I believe in a just and merciful God who saves.
