The Blue Jays are among the clubs with interest in Rockies INF Ryan McMahon, but a source with knowledge of the Rockies’ plans says it is highly unlikely he will be available at this year’s trade deadline.
McMahon, a probable All-Star selection for the last-place Rockies, is signed through 2027.

Blue Jays are the first team in modern MLB history (since 1901) to be victimized by a no-hitter & a 1-hitter within the first 7 games of the season
I’m holding out hope that last night was rock bottom for this blue jays team, and they just decided to get it out of the way 5 games into the season.
That being said, I have a very very bad feeling about this team. This could get bad.
🥹🇬🇧 Since he announced today that he is unlikely to play past this Summer, here is my Andy Murray Story:
Growing up, despite being SCOTTISH, I was never a big Andy Murray fan.
I even remember rooting for Federer in the 2012 Wimbledon and Olympic Finals! I didn’t dislike him, but his game just didn’t appeal to me.
This ALL changed in January 2019, when he played Bautista Agut in Round 1 at the Australian Open which looked like the last match of his career.
The way Andy levelled the match from 2 sets-to-love down was just ASTONISHING to me. It’s as if he channeled something from deep within him that overrode all the pain he had in his hip. Even though he lost the match, he forever gave me a memory that I’ll never forget.
Then, SOMEHOW winning a title after hip resurfacing, at Antwerp in 2019, was just something that I didn’t think was humanly possible. But he did it.
It’s been 5 years since then, and Andy has been FIRMLY one of my favourite active players. Despite the close defeats, the one-sided losses, the heartbreakers- speaking on a personal level - what he gave me in these 5 years is something I’m so thankful for.
Whenever he retires, it’ll be the right time. Because it is the career that he has given all of his LIFE to, *19 YEARS* as a Professional on the ATP Tour.
All those hours of practising as a kid, learning forehands and backhands and serves and drop shots, to being the first British male to win Wimbledon in 77 years - despite the groaning and moaning, he’ll be the first to tell you he just loves TENNIS. That’s it.
Sir Andy Murray 🫡
