We sold my wife’s Model Y in May expecting our new Model X to arrive soon (ordered end of March). Was so excited and still have pics in my camera roll that I showed to friends and family. Frosted Metallic Blue, so beautiful. After going into a dealership and inquiring about my RN, Tesla told me the Model X was never built.
To keep our family moving, we’ve been renting cars, borrowing my mother-in-law’s vehicle, and using two short-term loaners while we have waited. In late May, I ordered a new Model Y and stuck with the brand. Tesla was offering free Full Self-Driving and lifetime free Supercharging on the upgrade to the X.
My Model Y delivery has now been pushed back to end of July — over two months of disruption with no car of our own.
Tesla, can we please make this right? Honor the free FSD + lifetime Supercharging we were promised on the X, and expedite the delivery. This has been a major inconvenience for our family.
