@V_T_Anderson@TheBigPic@SeanFennessey They said on the podcast that with a few exceptions, they were going to try and steer away from performances that will be heavy on the awards circuit
@NPBurtenshaw@James003_ Fisher was better second half, but he’s not a left back. First half particularly, he was constantly cutting back in on himself and getting in trouble because he’s not confident going on his left
@RichardJSmith1 It’s Makama’s first time at this level & we’ve stuck him out on the wing. We desperately need a right winger as his height/physicality would be better suited coming off the bench and being stuck up top in the last 20-25 of games (unfortunately we’re already a few down by then)
@alex_bailey92 It’s a good result before the game, but it’s a bad result when you’re 1-0 up in the 95th minute and their goal comes from a defensive error
@gaz_w77@maxrushden He’s definitely not 6’6, a lot of heights are listed incorrectly for some reason. He’s probably more like 6’4 (as seen with 6’4 Haaland)
@EverythingBoxi2@DanRafael1 I would argue the jump to heavyweight isn’t comparable. Usyk’s first fight at the weight was fighting someone 42lbs heavier than he had previously, that takes some adjustment regardless of the quality of the opponent. I don’t think it’s comparable to Boots stepping up a division
@_SirAntMan_ @ringmagazine Easy - he lost his title on the scales which set him back significantly. Of course he should have fought for one since and Canelo didn’t want anything to do with him, but he lost all his leverage when he was stripped of the title in 2020
Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends.
But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month.
See you soon, NYC.
