Turkey is coming into this match with their motivation at an absolute all-time high. They are completely dialed in and using this trip to the States as their final dress rehearsal to fine tune everything before making their big return to the World Cup this summer. Manager Vincenzo Montella didn't bring his squad across the Atlantic to take a vacation, he brought the absolute heavy artillery. It is incredibly tough to see a squad this sharp and motivated dropping a match right before the big stage.

On the flip side, Venezuela is in a completely different headspace right now. They missed out on World Cup qualification entirely, so they are basically starting from scratch under new management with Oswaldo Vizcarrondo. They are currently dealing with a massive identity crisis, adjusting to a new tactical system, and trying out a ton of young, unproven prospects and bench players. A makeshift, uncoordinated defense going up against a lethal Turkish attack is a recipe for absolute disaster.

Turkey easily has the firepower to clear this goal total entirely by themselves, but by grabbing the double chance with the draw, we are completely protected even if things get a little weird or sloppy late in the game.
