Saturday marks the start of our 7th season dedicating each KU Football and Men’s Basketball broadcast to Jayhawk fans around the world battling cancer.

In our first 6 years we’ve had a chance to tell the inspiring stories of nearly 300 courageous Jayhawks battling this dreadful disease and we’ll keep lifting them & sharing their heroic journeys until a cure is found.

It’s our hope that these spotlights not only bring encouragement to the specific #KUCancerFighters we showcase, but also provide inspiration and a sense of community to others in the fight.

We all know someone affected by cancer. If there’s a special Jayhawk in your life who might benefit from a little extra love on gameday, it would be my honor to wear their name on my headset & tell their story on-air.
