We all understand that we can reach a point where Congress, the president, the governors, legislators etc. do something so absurd, it is simply not accepted. Moreover, they all stand for reelection.

Yet, we are to believe that a court can utter whatever it wants in a case or controversy, determine with finality the contours of its own powers, the other branches and the state powers, the constitution, and every political and social issue - and NOT stand for reelection, and somehow there is nothing you can do about it.
