@lite_thespark Cause they are shit, being a fan doesn't mean being ignorant to terrible material and blindly accept it. We know the difference and yearn for greatness. Pretty simple.
@RMBee Andor is wildly potent with fantastic writing. The episode arcs can slow burn but the payoffs deliver hard. Two of the greatest monologues in 1 episode?!?! Andor is better than we deserve.
There are so many plot points that fall short it could require 99 threads to break down. Nothing of these shows is impressive nor original. I refuse to believe this is the best to offer. Expect better and you deserve more.
When someone says "bad" writing it means the story presented is incohesive, lacks consistent character motivations, and has no verisimilitude. I am always shocked when asked "what specifically is bad"
Disney Star Wars isn't just bad Star Wars, it is insulting storytelling. So much has been said a half century before that it is shocking people accept any of this (minus Andor ofc). char
After being in the trenches over Star Wars (Disney era), I am convinced advocates for the TV shows and movies have little to no background in scifi and fantasy. Further, they have read no books or literature outside that world.
@ABs_Reviews@jadepantherx@PlasmaPistolCEO Despite being MAXIMUM cringe, it was an embarassing attempt to be profound and fell wildly short to showcase their nature. In the end it didnt meaningfully contribute to any actual point of purpose or intentions.
