i’m addicted to family guy. my dreams are animated in family guy style. i hear stewie’s voice when i’m alone. i have started to assimilate family guy plots into my memories. i cannot determine what is real and what is family guy anymore.
not to keep harping on this but there’s a real learned helplessness problem around phones. humanity survived thousands of years with no phones. get a map. get cash or a credit card. make friends w the ppl around u. u don’t need ur phone.
re phoneless concert discourse someone just said “what if its a cashless venue and i cant use apple pay?” and it reminded me of that guy whos key fob died and waited an hour for the locksmith to come just to point out that he had a physical car key. where is your credit card??!!?
“ur tweeting this from ur phone” yes! i love my phone! if i didn’t have my phone, i would probably just read a book. and i would be okay. because i don’t need my phone. i frequently forget my phone at home and im fine. my phone frequently dies when im out and im fine.
idc abt the phones at concerts discourse all i want to say is that it is interesting how phone focused our society has become. got lost and my phone died so i tried to buy a map from a gas station and they didn’t have any?? had to drop $20 on a phone charger it was annoying asf

the qr code menus when there’s no service or wifi??? like please stop making me rely on my phone i love my phone but i don’t NEED it and i don’t want to need it. i misplaced my phone at a party and ppl around me started freaking out FOR me like pls it’s okay?? i’ll find it later?
@SnakeyBoy047@margotcatgirl i had a friend collapse at a concert before. i didn’t call anybody, i went to physically get security because it was the fastest way to get help. who are you even calling in this fake situation you made up in your head
I don't want to see straight couples at pride. I don't care that the woman is or claims to be bisexual, that's not a gay couple. You are a straight couple.
HOWEVER!!! there is a difference between venting to your close friends and telling all of your acquaintances and their friends that they’re a shitty person. many of u struggle to realize this difference.
@Tati_WM i’m sooo passionate abt this bc the amount of glaring mistakes i continue to see in published material by supposedly reputable companies is astounding. as a copy editor, i heavily value a good proofread.
oh my god no it’s not???? one of the FIRST things they teach you in journalism is that accuracy is vital to credibility!!!! i immediately think you are not credible if you have glaring spelling/grammar mistakes or factual inaccuracies in published material.
