@cadmiumfalcon@PuckDontLie For sure but it’s clear the best center/wings combos win it… i.e Stamkos/Kucherov, Toews/Kane, Mackinnon/Rantanen, Eichel, Stone etc. You don’t really see teams winning without having a top 5-10 center for that year
@HotTakeHockey I need better than Kapanen at 3W. Someone like Bourque/McMann. In the modern NHL both 3rd line wings should be 20-25 scorers. Also Robertson>Lorentz. Lorentz/Joshua share 4th line LW/13th forward
McKenna-Matthews-Mantha
Cowan-J.T-Nylander
Knies-Hayton-McMann
Joshua-Stenlund-Rob
@HotTakeHockey I would prefer Bystedt over Hayton if he’s available and it sounds like he might be. I think his first year in the NHL projects to a higher ceiling then Hayton.
@FreePeteyEP40 Florida is pretty set down the middle. Not sure if they have the appetite to trade another top prospect (Bjorck/Randolph tier) when they are already getting older.
@jimmy_19821793@tddt_5115@tmlfaninvan Yep he’s playing in the SHL in Sweden, already confirmed. Probably 1 more year in Sweden, then bring him to the AHL the following year and then maybe the NHL in 2028-29. That is probably the best case scenario though.
@DaleStygaard@TalkeyHockey It’s not as crazy as you think and Larkin isn’t as valuable as you think.
Larkin is turning 30. He has 2-3 prime years left
Seider is turning 26. He has 6-7 prime years left
McKenna alone has 12 years of prime ahead of him more than both combine.
@thejaysnation Meeting expectations
Was hoping for a 2 WAR .750 OPS 3B with average to good defense.
He’s done that thus far (pacing 2 war over a full year)
