The Brewers are 23-8 since May 4th.
Why is that date significant? That was the date Andrew Vaughn and Jackson Chourio were activated from the IL.
Andrew Vaughn is hitting .369 since May 4.
Jackson Chourio is hitting .305 since May 4.
The sad part is whatever we get back for him will inevitably get flipped to the Brewers, where he’ll put up a 0.54 ERA after never even sniffing AAA with us
The Brewers just earned their 40th victory in their 63rd game of the season.
That’s the fastest the team has gotten to 40 wins in franchise history.
Oh, and they’re coming off their best regular season in franchise history.
This organization just continues to roll.
Pat Murphy had a quip for Jackson Chourio this morning in the clubhouse as he walked by the breakfast table
"Jack Jack, you gonna get a hit at Coors Field or what?"
Chourio told him he was going to swing at the first pitch and get a hit. He wasn't kidding. He's done it twice.
look man, we’ve all watched christian watson drop a 75-yard touchdown on the first snap of his career, fight through chronic soft-tissue injuries, and successfully come back from a torn ACL all while still integrating himself as a core piece of this offense. he’s absolutely busted his ass. i couldn’t care less what they paid him, i’ll never be mad at a guy like that for getting his money when he deserves every penny
