@doctor_jolly@SnapshotKyle A defensive stance is low, like this image. You want to be able to maintain a wide stable base that allows you to change direction quickly without losing balance.
@LBJsBest That’s because he sucks the oxygen out of a team then complains he can’t breathe…
He assembles stars, then makes them worse.
Wade was great before LBJ. So was Bosh. So was Love. Etc. etc.
He’s a parasite. He attaches to a team, weakens it while getting props, then leaves
@drewciferinn 50% around the rim is terrible. Reese just throws it in the direction of the rim and hopes something good happens. She’d shoot no better than 50% in a Mikan drill.
Every layup is like:
@AKAgossips@SnapshotKyle No doubt. That said, at every level (especially early on) defensive stance and slides are drilled until they should be second nature. I don’t understand how the WNBA players don’t immediately FEEL “I’m in a bad position” when they stay high and narrow.
@AMooreCoach@SnapshotKyle Agreed on defense with feet, but if the ball handler is going to their right (your left) and they expose the ball, swatting with your left that should already be extended that way is fine. She reached across with the right which is a great way to get crossed up.
@downbadcomment Feel good that your dad prioritized setting you up for success more than that bike.
As a dad myself, I’ll let you in on a secret. Your dad got so much more satisfaction and fulfillment in paying off that loan than he ever would have gotten if he kept it.
@Frank66_@JimmySpencer I frame-by-framed it from the toes being bent and that’s the first frame before the foot comes up. You can’t even see the toe, so I had to go by shoe bend.
Your eyeballs must be magical though, because you’re seeing something off-frame…
@Jarothz@hyattwatcher@JimmySpencer 100%. Did they probably miss the call? I think so. Is it egregious? Not really. Tough shot…tip your cap and go the other way
@DanielPSwartz@JimmySpencer@Frank66_ He had two hands on the ball (control by every definition) before he ever starts the jump that landed two footed.
They missed the call. Didn’t cost the game, but the gather was on the step before he landed two footed
@Frank66_@JimmySpencer No. The gather is here, two hands on ball with left foot and maybe right foot still on ground. Then he jumps and lands two footed.
@hyattwatcher@JimmySpencer Gather is here. Both feet touching ground, then he pushes off left and lands two-footed. Then pumps, steps left, then steps right and fades away for the shot.
