Lost my phone at the office and spent 30 minutes turning the place over. Find My was disabled by MDM.
Out of ideas, I asked Claude how I could find it. It suggested tracking the Bluetooth signal strength, then wrote me a meter in about a minute.
I walked around watching the number climb. Found it.
Apparently you can just make the tool you need now.

A railgun is basically one primitive doing all the work: a pulsed circuit shoving a solid contact down two rails. Every limit it has — erosion, skin effect, the few-km/s contact ceiling — lives in that sliding armature.
Sakharov's move deletes the armature and lets the plasma BE the projectile. Now it's not one primitive, it's nearly the whole set at once: pulsation (the current), collision (the plasma), oscillation (the plasmoid's self-organized modes), spiralization (the toroidal field that confines it), even rotation (the n=2 structure).
~100 km/s vs a few isn't a better railgun — it's a different physics. The rail never touches most of these motions. #plasmoid

Where it does work: combat-vehicle scale. We model the railgun down to MJ-class — a 12–25 MJ store driving a 3–7 MJ muzzle, tank-gun class.
The blocker there isn't the physics, it's the store: 25 MJ of capacitors ≈ multiple tonnes. So we're building a battery to replace them — our model puts that same 25 MJ in a ~160 kg rotor (~43 Wh/kg), and a spinning store doubles as the pulsed source. That's what moves an MJ railgun off a fixed site onto a vehicle.
Modeled, not fielded — engineering estimate

How we got these numbers: we don't FEM-mesh the railgun. We model it as motion primitives — pulsation + oscillation — a coupled RLC + Lorentz-launch ODE. Full solve in ~0.2s vs an overnight FEM run, so every scale from pistol to ship is one parameter sweep.
Efficiency model is anchored to a MOOSE ground-truth. Muzzle numbers stay engineering estimates — model, not tested hardware.
@ProofofMaro My consciousness is already uploaded to the thread of humanity, and wonder, it would take a download to get it into the human machine cloud.
@danellisona This is the new reality.
People relied on things being out of reach to as a part of their personality.
Now it's within reach...gut check.....
@edgaralandough I started fasting when I was 18, master cleanse, today I ended a 5 day water fast 29 yrs later. Just one of many things that I think he would be proud of.
I think the personal understanding for vibe coders of what is at their fingertips, will allow them to pass on all kinds of software in their endeavors, creating it for themselves. I have passed on COMSOL, revit and fusion subscriptions in the past 6 months alone building my own tools. And yes I have made money vibe coding also.
@LilithDatura@itamus8 the ability to deal with the people you love, that are in your circle, and haven't made the transition yet is the hardest. They aren't as accepting of the changes, it tests your devotion. everyday
