@DaHubsTCG@Senor_Doom Never felt the need for second kang/wellspring and I like just having 2 clef that are searchable, could see it being different w/ pao though, haven’t tried that.
@DaHubsTCG@Senor_Doom Leaning first for t2 pump but not sure. Second is pretty awkward if you can’t get a ko, first mostly guarantees first ko and then you just stay ahead. T1 leaves is mostly best for games where you can 1-2-3 with teal mask briar.
@DaHubsTCG@Senor_Doom Never felt the need for stretchers, but obv you need to use clefairy twice sometimes, thought clef filled a similar role as pagos anyway. Really value leaves + cyrano for an easy t1 attack and I liked how legacy + briar work to either slow them a turn or speed up a turn yourself.
@DaHubsTCG@Senor_Doom https://t.co/LfEVV2qmJ7 Most of it is leftover from a list I made right after rotation. Made a few changes based on one of your lists. -Waterpon +area zeros was something I’d considered, liked the idea of more grass over retrievals as well.
7-0 for 2nd/240 in a Tuesday mickey with Turbo Teal Mask Box. The draw with this deck is insane, feels like the best big basic deck I've played this format. Crispin is fake - draw cards instead.
@DaHubsTCG @Icecubez25 @Senor_Doom Big fan of just opening Lillie so I don’t think I’d cut any but cipher could be good as well. Really valuable to find legacy early so they can’t just boss around it for game.
@Icecubez25 @Senor_Doom Legacy is very good, swings 2 prize beatstick mirrors, buys a turn in most matchups if you don’t bench kang. If you do, legacy kang can still force briar. Also makes waterpon/clefairy attacks easier. Haven’t tried any other ace spec. 4 Lillie - best way to find prism/eswitch.
Top 8 in @Senor_Doom ToD regional. Prized 4 supporters and had to iono away 2 research in game 2 and threw game 3. Happy with the run overall but definitely should’ve gone further, embarrassing to farm dengo all weekend and scoop one into cut only to lose to it when it matters.
@UnitedWingz@Senor_Doom Basic decks have latias and most evolution decks (gardy, grimm, pult) have munkis so you need charm. If any non-bolt noctowl decks are popular it’s a good option but I don’t think it’s worth it now.
@_munkidori_@Senor_Doom Blood moon is terrible imo. Bad vs gardy/pult/grimm/dengo, worse and less versatile than shaymin as a bolt tech, doesn’t beat joltik without switch which is even worse, and if you start it you lose. Exploding needles damage and counter gain mind bend are more than enough.
At higher levels of play you can’t skill check people as hard which is a nerf, and it’s tough to justify over grimm which is much more proven (grimm is way worse vs bolt, crustle though). For anything else (local/online events) it’s a great pick though!
