@heyscan prodcedual question for Schildt: once play at the plate was overturned to "out", could Schildt have challenged for blocking the plate? Seemed like Martin's direct line was blocked before ball arrived. Don't feel like I've seen nearly as many blocking challenges this year

@BenHigginsSD Umpire announced that the challenge was against the shortstop. @MLB absolutely has to provide the video that led to that ruling because the perception is yet another blatantly wrong call by the replay center.

@RyanCohen24 Are we ever going to see this play ruled on consistently? I feel for Fortes, but isn't the rule in place literally to protect him by forcing him to set up in wherever "the right place" is? Definitely not straddling the line where runner collides even after trying to avoid.

@MattSkraby @SammyLev any thoughts on alternate defensive alignment of burning the DH to bring Manny back in rather than Carp at first? Not as worried with a 4 run lead, but I was curious which way Bob would go.

@MattSkraby For this series, it's been because Dodger's get extra outs and take advantage. Strikeout for the 3rd out was missed on two separate batters on Friday's 8th inning too. Sprinkle in unexplainable decisions in NY and it adds up to "things just seem to always break the Dodgers way".

@SammyLev I thought MLB said that plays in the infield don't apply to the blocking the plate rule... Stupid rule can't be clearly explained or called consistently and it's ruining the sport.
