Looks like she’s been singled out and intimated by an entire pub full of people, mostly men, and she’s the one in the wrong for pushing back a bit? What if this was your mum? Your wife? Your sister? Daughter? You wouldn’t condone this then would you?

Why are we trying to frame that living in a country where you can be bullied out of public spaces for having different political beliefs to the establishment is something we should be proud of? She has some nationalist views, some different ideas to the consensus, so what? They’ve hurt a few feelings so now she deserves her life to be like this as revenge? A lot of younger people especially forget that mainstream media still has a huge influence on public opinion.

I spoke to several older people in Makerfield who told me they wouldn't vote for Restore until they heard more about the party on TV or the radio.

When you understand that a fair amount of the public still rely solely on mainstream media for their news, their apathy about the violent crimes taking place in our country makes more sense. They often don't know the crimes are happening and, if they do, they underestimate the scale of the problem.

Whilst out knocking on doors today in Makerfield, Restore Britain volunteers came across a lifeless baby hedgehog on a doorstep.

After some water and lots of cuddles, they then found some locals who happened to rescue hedgehogs!

I can report that Rupert the hedgehog has now been adopted and is on the road to a full recovery!
