the world is getting better. When’s the last time you had to spend a day doing a rebase?

[Ryan Oksenhorn @ryanzip]

Zipline is helping save a lot of lives, but statistics don't really do it justice. We've spent the last 6 months producing a series of interviews with the person on the other end of a Zipline delivery. We think you'll love these.

At seven months pregnant she walked herself to the hospital in rural Rwanda. Hours later Theonile gave birth and experienced severe post-partum hemorrhaging. Here’s her story.

Life is short. Skeptics are probably right more often than they are wrong, but they also don't go on epic adventures or get to work on projects that move humanity forward. Ignore the skeptics and build the future!

ten years of Zipline delivery 🇷🇼

[Zipline @zipline]

Ten years ago today, Zipline made the world’s first lifesaving drone delivery in Rwanda.

Three million deliveries later, more than 60,000 lives have been saved. Meet the people on the other end of these deliveries in our new video series, Stories from the Sky.

Tomorrow we celebrate ten years of Zipline deliveries with a series of stories told by the people we serve.

In early Zipline days, we so heavily optimized for iteration speed. My desk was just past the window in the gray building, not 20 steps from the launcher. We'd regularly test out 10+ new builds of flight software a day. Compile > Install > Fly > Crash > Rebuild > Repeat

[Ryan Oksenhorn @ryanzip]

We started Zipline on a one-thousand-acre cattle ranch.

We made the test site our HQ. We only moved HQ when the septic tanks couldn't handle 100+ people's worth of flushes each day.

This was my daily commute:
