🚨MAJOR NEWS: Georgia’s Republican governor Brian Kemp, has been rocked by an explosive new scandal.
A new report claims Kemp struggled to sell lakefront properties for 13 years, then suddenly found buyers after becoming governor. According to the report, those buyers later received state contracts, appointments, and favorable legislation.
Georgia voters deserve answers. The appearance of pay-to-play politics is exactly why people have lost trust in government.
“During the darkest days of the AIDS crisis we buried our friends in the morning, we protested in the afternoon, and we danced all night, and it was the dance that kept us in the fight because it was the dance we were fighting for.” – Dan Savage
New reporting reveals Pete Hegseth has blocked promotions for several female and Black Navy officers.
Nearly 60% of the senior officers he has fired are female or Black.
I am proud to endorse this incredible slate of candidates for statewide office.
I am confident that each and every one of these leaders will fight and deliver for Georgia families. Let's get to work.
i don’t care if the kid stole the whole goddamned store you can’t chase somebody and shoot them in the fucking back and get away with it what the fuck are we doing
My heart still aches when I think of Georgia we could be living in with 8 years of @staceyabrams as our Governor. The working people of our state deserved so much more.
This is Timothy Hudson. He raped & killed his stepsister. A judge ruled because he’s 16 he gets to spend time at home with family awaiting trial.
He’s Not an immigrant. Not a Black or brown person. A US citizen with the complexion for protection.
16 year old Kalief Browder was tortured for 3 years in prison and solitary on the mere (false) accusation that he allegedly stole a backpack. He died by suicide from the trauma. Hudson gets to chill at home after raping & killing.
This is America.
BREAKING: The Louisiana Senate passed a disturbing anti-homeless bill that pushes homeless people into jails, forced treatment, and unpaid labor. Hours earlier, the same lawmakers voted to give themselves $1,000 to cover housing expenses, recognizing housing is too expensive.
New reporting reveals Republican Gov. Brian Kemp pushed $27M in school security contracts to a company run by his best friend Daniel Dooley.
Dooley then gave $100,000 of the taxpayer money to Kemp's PAC, which has poured money into GOP Senate candidate Derek Dooley's campaign.
Some good news today.
South Carolina has chosen NOT to move forward with gerrymandering for the time being.
AND a court has blocked Alabama’s gerrymander.
The fight continues. But these small victories are important.
Keep the faith.
