I wasn’t seeking a partner, wife or even gf when I met my wife.

I was messing around with a few different women at the time, waiting for the end of June 2021 to get there so I could leave TN for good, having already accepted a job in Maryland, lost my best friend in December 2020, needed a fresh start.

My wife messaged me on bumble about baseball and sports in Late April. We talked on the phone for like 4 hours a few nights in a row. And then we finally hung out. We hung out for 3 nights in a row, and then she had to help her best friend move out to Cali for two weeks. A very long two weeks. I told her I wasn’t looking and that I was moving to MD in June. She pushed the fuck it button and applied for a lead neuro RN role at John’s Hopkins. She got a call back 24 hours after applying. She had her in person job shadow the week after she came back from Cali, and decided to road trip with me up to MD to take my first load of stuff to the new apt. We never spent a day apart again. Proposed in front of her and my family the last day we were in TN in June. Married that same October.

Got the work done. I know I’m a few days behind but with all the family stuff that’s gone on the last week and chaos that’s ensued, I’m just grateful for the opportunity.

The 392.5 x 1 deadlift single flew! 🔥🎃 I was very happy with that.

I’d happily spend the band, no problem.

My issue is I’m not a local and the airfare tripled immediately and they don’t do flights back on Tuesday so I’d have to come minimum Monday and leave Wednesday. That adds a whole night of hotel costs which is what had me unable to go.

For me personally longest was 12-13 hours from TN to MD going thru DC on a Friday.

Longest move was 11 hours in a U-Haul, started the drive at 4pm and got there at about 3am.

Yeah also doesn’t matter if you truly look for hidden gems.

There are hidden gems in and around the Knoxville area for under 400k. In some of the best areas there are gems for 650k (when the avg is 900+).

You have to really seek out the gems, and you have to be willing to maybe do some paint or fix a few things that most people have ZERO skills to do (it saves you hundreds of thousands over a lifetime).

We bought our first in 2024 for 137k. We put a lot into but did all of it ourselves. It is Zillow appraised for 340k rn. The house next door is 1000 sqft smaller than ours and is on the market for 265k. I can list mine tomorrow for 300k, have it sold in 30 days and still make out like a robber.

And the next houses we are eying are still between 200k-400k. Again, maybe a LITTLE work here and there but nearly all are move in ready. And way closer to family and in or just outside Knoxville.

People just lazy and soft.

1. Excess bodyfat - lose fat to reveal muscle
2. A while? Give it *at least* a year. Muscle growth is slow. An untrained man can lose weight in a few months & look “fit” because most men have a baseline level of muscle due to higher testosterone. Women don’t have this. Most women can’t weight loss their way to looking like they lift.
3. You are weak. Not as in ur a little bitch, u are literally NOT STRONG. Can u do push ups? Pull ups? Can u squat & deadlift 135 for reps? If u want to look like u lift u need to actually lift.
