Iran:
Flash flooding, storms and heavy rainfall have affected 15 provinces of Iran over the last week, causing fatalities, displacements and emergency rescues.The Red Crescent said 2,578 people were affected, 58 people had to be rescued and 7 people died in floods.

Flood is destroying Asian countries!

Since June, extreme rainfall has led to massive flooding in many parts of East, Southeast and South Asia. In Japan, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Nepal, Pakistan, Mongolia and India. Millions have been displaced, and hundreds killed.

Pakistan:
Over 20 people have died in rain-related incidents in northern Pakistan over the last 10 days. This is a regular occurrence in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where fragile or poor housing leaves many communities exposed to severe weather conditions.

Many factors, like poor land management, play a role in wildfires, but climate change is making them more frequent and intense. Not only is climate change stoking the fires, but their burning releases even more carbon into the atmosphere, which worsens the crisis.

They have also erupted in the west coast state of Oregon in the United States. New York City was covered with the smell of wildfires and a thick brown haze showing the far-reaching impacts of these wild-fires.

You can also be a support system for an individual who identify as an LGBTQ. It is also important to remember that we must be respectful and show acceptance through our words so that they feel secured and comfortable whilst also being an active listener.

Mental Health is usually an ignored term of being a healthy person. Yet, it is often forgotten that it is one of the most important part of being healthy. Everyone one of us face challenges regarding this issue, however the challenges that 🏳️‍🌈 community faces are often ignored.

LGBTQ individuals are more likely to experience a mental illness such as depression or anxiety. Furthermore , 40 %of transgender individuals have attempted suicide in their lifetime. This is nearly 9 times the overall rate in the United States.

Eid signifies the importance of sacrifice, commemorating the story of Prophet Ibrahim in the Quran where he was about to sacrifice his son. But God sent an angel to replace his son with an animal.
