I drew a short-finned mako shark skeleton. (The proportions are off because I wanted to fit it on a small sketchbook page without it becoming microscopic.) Drawn with a mechanical pencil using an image from Kraniata as reference.

@instagram No longer marked as being looked into, now it just flat out says "Your account has been disabled for violating our terms" when I try to log in. It was a new account! I posted 2 illustrations and never interacted with anyone. There's no way I violated any terms.

Hm, I created a new @instagram account, posted two of my old Drawlloween illustrations to it, and now it's been disabled for breaking ToS. After two posts, one follow, no comments, and no DMs. That's fun. I didn't even use my domain name as my username. 😕

This was a lot of fun to make. I enjoyed detailing the note with the orange soda and the writing on the back. Getting the map fragment just right with the distressing and fold lines was also cool, though I'm not good at reading maps so I'm hoping I marked the locations correctly.

I am reminded of this as I visit my family, having a free day to myself while being in the middle of nowhere with nothing to do. Would it be silly to buy a TV for a room I only spend 2 weeks out of the year in?

Matthew Rhys was amazing in The Americans and he's amazing in #ABeautifulDayInTheNeighborhood . Tom Hanks is of course the perfect choice to play Mr. Rogers. An emotional movie. The drama and moments of levity are both well done.
