@AxionHusky That’s been my experience too. For me it’s been either they don’t respond at all (even if they’re the first to text) or the texts are so dry it’s not even worth it. Need to have a “Communication 101” panel at a con or something to teach people how to talk to others

@naturewuffer I used to think it looked desperate but I see it now as, “this is good communication.” You wouldn’t wait days to message someone back. I’ll still respond quickly even if someone takes weeks or months to respond since a quick response is what I want in the end

@AeroFox64 Yeah. I have one that’s an hour away and another that’s in a different state. It’s hard to see each other most times but it makes it that much better when we can because I know I’ll have a blast with them

Heya Fluffs! Today's interview has been a very, very long time coming and I can't watch it without smiling from the happiness I felt that day. For context, while attending Anthrocon 2026, I was informed that an amazing fluff in our community named CC was attending from her Wish, and she wanted to meet me. Of course I would never turn down an opportunity like this, and wanted to make this memory extra special. With some amazing help from the Anthrocon Public Outreach team headed by Osee, we made it happen.

I can't thank Anthrocon, the Make-A-Wish foundation, and all of you enough for allowing this opportunity of a lifetime and to actually have a part in fulfilling someone's wish, and making their convention that much brighter. Thank you especially to @FinnThePanther , @PeebyandJ , @avaloafe , @LittleAlphaPup and Anthrocat for taking time out of their convention to being there for CC alongside me, and of course, thank you so much to all of you for watching and being the best community possible. This absolutely wouldn't have happened without all of your amazing support and being a community that does so much good in this world.

People complain that certain subgroups let bad people in the fandom but they never provide proof (e.g. screenshots, admissions), only claims and hearsay of these bad people

Just saw a post that said the reason so many people jump from relationship to relationship is because they’re chasing the high of the honeymoon phase, and not the security and fulfillment of long-term companionship, and I feel like that explains SO MUCH

@TibedeeW Maybe so. Idk why the fandom has shifted more towards showing off one’s body under the guise of body positivity. You only see one body type nowadays posted in the fandom

The good thing is there are plenty of other panels that look fun like the meet ups and fursuit making. Think of the con as a whole and not just some of the panels.

The discourse over MP panels is interesting. I get it sucks that some panels that I feel should’ve got accepted (mental health) didn’t but it’s okay. Isn’t the point of these cons is to be a fuzzy animal, hangout with friends, socialize, and have fun? That’s what I focus on.

@starrymeowi It’s easier to assume rather than be an adult and actually talk with people who have differences. I feel it’s all mainly online since it’s easier to make callout posts behind a screen than tell the person to their face. It’s just perpetually online people that are miserable.
