@TheDenofNerds This man’s anti Kang agenda is insane. Yeah Kang has never been top tier like Doom, Magneto, Ultron or Thanos. But to call him D tier is insane. I always considered him a B tier villain. In recent years (especially Only Myself left to Conquer) he’s gotten far more interesting

You mention Thanos being fleshed out in Infinity War, but imo Doom deserves/needs to be fleshed out over MULTIPLE films and or a solo project given his rich backstory and that’s my concern

@hetch75 @DanielRPK Doom should’ve been introduced at the beginning of Phase 4 if the intention is to swap to him during Secret Wars. At this point I think they should just let Kang be the big bad throughout it the saga, SW included, and let Doom follow afterwards. Let both great villains shine

@comicyehu Point of my little thread here being that I think as long as Doom as a character FEELS like his character and they’re true to his upbringing overall, it’s OKAY to not have a Romani actor, despite that being ideal

@comicyehu And I feel as if for a role of this magnitude we need an academy award level actor. Doom is a character with gravitas, and we need an actor that can properly carry that. ESPECIALLY given it could be a Vader where it’s predominately voice work driven

@ANaemaz @BrandonDavisBD He can still be a long term mainstay for 10-15 years. It’s not like it’s integral to Reed’s character that he’s portrayed young. He’s often portrayed I’d say like 40 some years old. Obviously irl there’s aging to consider but still. RDJ was cast as Tony at like 44 or something

@ThaNotoriousZ @HollywoodHandle Galactus has ALWAYS been a Fantastic 4 villain first. Like one of the other comments said, he also doesn’t require a ton of buildup. He simply consumes the energy of planets to survive. Him being here doesn’t mean he’s a one and done either. Can definitely appear more than once

@Facelessart305 @TheDenofNerds Charlie Cox doesn’t really resemble Matt Murdock too much either. Same with Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. Yet they’re universally loved in their respective roles. I get looking similar to the source material is important to an extent. But performance is ALWAYS most important

@TheDenofNerds Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars were ALWAYS two parts of the same story for the MCU. Obviously they’re separate stories in the comics but it was SO obvious they’re two parts of the same thing for the MCU. Otherwise they wouldn’t be originally planned 6 months apart, and now a year
