@EvanLSolomon If most Muslim immigrants actually contributed to the betterment of the country instead of just wanting a handout then I believe they would be more accepted. The way it stands now the majority are unskilled & most appear unwilling to leave their hatred toward Christian’s behind
@StephanieKusie As one of the constituents that voted for you will you be supporting Alberta Independence or continue doing nothing for the betterment of Albertans in Ottawa?
@StatBoySports None of the current key assets were part of this deal. Draft picks in 20230. Ingram was a great Raptor. Albeit a small sample size. Dick wasn’t part of the solution. Scottie, RJ, Poetl & hopefully a healthy Kawhi should see the Raps in the top 5 of the East.
@theScore We should start a pool here @theScore of how many games he plays until injury? I’ll start. I say he plays 8 games then goes on the IR. His body & minutes needed to be managed 7yrs ago. At 35 I’m thinking he’s even more susceptible to injury. If he could/can stay healthy?????
@ArashMadani I think many CDN diehard sports fans are expecting too much from them. They’ve made history for men’s soccer. CanMNT have been pathetic on the world’s stage for most of their existence. This is progress. Be positive Arash
@JeromyYYC There are 9 that voted to implement the noise rules/bylaw changes & 6 that were seeking a compromise. It’s hard to trust you when you pander to the minority & the majority then suffers. 100 year tradition. 1 week of noise. Economic benefits shared by many. Not on your watch.
@CanMNTonly I’m no Jesse Marsch fan either but if AD isn’t 100% he shouldn’t be playing. All CDNs want him to play as I’m sure he does as well. Imagine the ramifications if he was subbed in & was injured again? Bayern Munich would go apeshit. They’d claim negligence on the medical staff
@RingOfFireCGY Until such time as Zary’s original speed & skill return, those 2 qualities that we witnessed before his lower body injuries, he’s a bottom six player at best. He will be hard pressed to stay in the league if he doesn’t have a strong upcoming season. Another Jacob Pelletier.
@FlamesNation Based on what I saw with Parekh last season I’m thinking Nemec might take his spot. Competition for PP time & on ice minutes between the 2 will be worth paying attention to. Keep in mind Nemec is a few years older so he’s had time to adjust to playing against bigger stronger guys
@HussDiya He’s leaving for a team that has no state income tax. His list of teams he’d consider all had no tax. Doesn’t he pay something crazy like 53.5% tax in Ontario? It’s all about putting as much money in his pocket as possible is my thought. Elbows Up you dummies.
@SensBuzz No state income tax in all 5 destinations he said he’d agree to be traded to. Is it wrong to think that he’s wanting to put every dollar in his pocket that he can?
@realBillWirtz Call it what it is Bill. No state tax in Florida, Minnesota, or Texas. He can make $8million a season in Ottawa & he’s taxed at something crazy like 53.5%. He wants to keep as much of his money as he can.
@calstampeders If the Stamps would have played as well in the 1st 3Qtrs as they did in the 4th there would’ve been no need for OT. Damn near stole one.
@JonnEngstrom A likeable player to be sure but personally was disappointed in his play throughout the season. Every one of our young players was run from behind this past season with ZERO repercussion from Lomberg. He’s paid to stick up for his teammates. He failed miserably in that regard.
@shirleyturnbull Idiot stick @shirleyturnbull needs a history lesson. Calgary hosts the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth for 1 week every year. Suck it up buttercup. The advantages to the City as a whole far outweigh noise past midnight for 1 week. Get outta town for Stampede Week if it bothers you
