@chr15_eat0n Woo! Also, if you have #Signal set as your default message app, you can still receive non-signal texts through Signal (though they will not be encrypted.) Not only do you only need to check one msg app, but msgs will automatically be signal msgs between any signal users. #privacy

... on a regular basis for nonviolently sitting and singing in the Capitol Rotunda or other ridiculously non-threatening activities. By now we've all seen the videos of police welcoming the insurrectionists through the barricades. Last I heard, there were only 12 arrests... (?/x)
As someone whose literal occupation until very recently was organizing and facilitating protests and direct actions on US Capitol grounds, I’ve gotten a more aggressive response from a cop for accidentally stepping on the wrong set of stairs than what’s happening here today.
