There's something magical about watching a system think.

I still remember those endless hours staring at the Windows 95 defrag screen—watching blocks shuffle and reorganize, cell by cell, piece by piece. Seeing the fragmented chaos become ordered harmony. It wasn't just optimization; it was understanding. Every pixel on that progress bar was a small revelation that somewhere in there, logic was winning.

Twenty years later, I'm watching verbose mode on my code, and I feel that same awe.
