@InflamedElk@PardonMyTake I've lived in the area for 25 years now and worked in the city for 15, and it's always the people who dont actually live in Philly complain about "PSU not being a Philly school". Gatekeepers from the burbs.
@ThePSUBurner@orv93@CoryGiger Don't think he has the talent yet to compete with Oregon but if they do win, psu fans will be saying "what if" for awhile.
@orv93@CoryGiger I wanted Chesney, but he wasn't the splash hire that Kraft thought he needed for his legacy (or ego). Not saying Chesney won't have some growing pains at UCLA but they look so well coached so far, and it sounds like he wanted the job here
@afr114@BEnglish222@Ben_Jones88 Curious if that was Campbell's call. I assume he has control of the overall game plan (I.e. conservative as hell) or if the run plays on third and long we're from Mouser alone. But agree that players were open...plus on that dropped snap, there was a ton of space if he pitched it
@Tali43 One of the first PSU games I went to that I actually remember was the Miami game in 2001. The image of you leading the team onto the field has stuck with my ever since. You're an inspiration to many and I hope you are still doing well. We Are!
@chrisizit@CFBJake@TambaHali91 Every time I see a clip from this game I say the same thing. Still the best live sports event Ive ever been to. Bleachers were shaking before the game even started.
@Ben_Jones88 I was in the end zone where Manningham caught the TD to win it. Most devastating loss I've seen live but I take solace in the fact that even if they win that game, no way PSU was going to play for a natty with TX/USC at 1/2.
@TalkinYanks Why not tell your players not to challenge on the first three innings? They suck at it. Boone can't hit for these guys but at least manage what you can control.
@undergroundlair@espn If the allegations are true (that the league lied about his sibling having a disability and playing for the challenger league in order to make the kid eligible), that's pretty despicable. I understand kids just want to play but rules are in place to make the playing field level
@JoseandoWallst@AS76916@eyyankees That's not how what works? It's a completely subjective award with no defined criteria, so I imagine the BBWAA takes high leverage/pressure starts into their consideration.
@DanClarkSports@Yankees He's 21 years old and has improved at every level. Arm strength and range is elite. Not saying he is going to be a superstar but saying he has a career .763 OPS is a little skewed given the small sample size.
@TalkinYanks@Joelsherman1 Clearly need a middle infielder and catcher. Cashman said fuck that, let's get a 4th DH/1B and get a middling OF for 2 of the top 15 prospects from an already brutal farm system. Well done, Mr. Cashman
@audsnyder4@DanCronin18 You can't say it's a poor investment w/o every trying to see if it can be succesful with more resources. Other big schools with large alumni bases do well in football and bball. Why can't we? And doesn't MBB make more money than wrestling despite its lack of success?
@themattyjmp@MyEyesBlink@YoSoyPilin@FabrizioFauno You don't like tailgating, Americans do. Why do you, or any other European care? Idgaf that you go to the pub before the game. Good for you. Don't dictate what people in different countries do or don't do. And here I thought Americans were supposed to be ignorant/arrogant...
@TheBoyCoconut@InternetH0F The real issue is consistency. There's been at least 2 other fouls like this one that weren't cards and the refs have overall been pretty lax with calling fouls this world cup. All players, across all sports, just want refs to be consistent and uniform in applying the rules
@Yankees Would love to know what their rationale for this is. Bird has options, so why not keep Cruz up to see what he has long term? Make it make sense cashman...
