I don't know how many times we've said it, but I'll say it again: losing these wonderfully innovative teams that dare to create something different is so detrimental, especially in a space where most "successful" games feel like they're using the same AAA formula with little variation.

Of all the games we saw this week, I can genuinely say that the biggest surprise for me was Final Fantasy Resonance. Never thought I’d see a console port of Brave Exvius in this day and age, I loved that game on my mobile.

Ok yeah I think after today, 2026 is the year of gaming’s resurgence. Nintendo saved the best for last in their presentation.
