@kelly_ques Electrocuted involves death or severe injury. Very few people will come here to tell the tale. If you mean received an electric shock? Yeah, sure. Working with animals this does tend to happen more than we'd like.
@klhicks912 Yes. Especially for fantasy, I start the Tolkien way, with several unrelated short stories featuring characters who might -or might not- feature in the book. Just to flesh things out.
@AuthorGoodwin If I had a very particular reason for choosing that name, I would share it with the editor. If they insisted on changing then I would. It doesn't really matter how they're called, what matters to me is who they are.
@jodyjsperling Depends whose opinion it is. If I ever got read by an author I admire or the editor of a publishing house I'm really into: a lot.
