@serenitynowplze@NZStuff Um I don’t think the article says that. It was talking about misinformation amongst the cohort of parents who didn’t get their children vaxxed and were generally anti-vax themselves.
@WildScribble@SiouxsieW Yep this is my issue with my 12-year-old. My 16-year-old will wear hers because she has a chronic lung disease and doesn’t care what people think but it’s likely her brother will bring it home first.
@CrazyKiwiHJ @SiouxsieW Can’t wait, not. Schools have always been cesspits for germs. It’s the reason why they have the short terms in winter. Kids get sick, so they can’t handle the longer terms. Fun times ahead…
@tripledosedkiwi @SiouxsieW Oh god I want to smack the people who wear it beneath their noses! Why bother? How stupid can some people be? Oh yes quite stupid, not to mention thoughtless. Mask wearing requires it to be over the mouth AND nose.
@DCANZ2@SiouxsieW Agreed. Kids have been the vectors throughout omicron but no boosters for them (only 16/17 year olds and they was only announced a week ago). It’s the kids they make the adults and grandmas and grandads so sick. Let’s not forget we’re going into winter too - fun times ahead
@stuntkiwi @SiouxsieW And so are you saying you’re happy for one of your family members to die from Covid if they have underlying health conditions? Just checking your stance on that?
With a level four lockdown back again, New Zealanders can expect the use of digital mental health services to continue to grow @nzhealthit ceo Ryl Jensen says...https://t.co/42i0ZhckJM
@Shorty126G@NZcivildefence Only if you struggled to stand. I would say the East Cape of NZ should get gone though. Stand by for official information though
We need this question answered. Should be a simple enough calculation for @minhealthnz to tell us how many people went through the isolation facilities without a test over the past 4 weeks. It is inconceivable that only this week have there been #COVID19nz +ves in isolation!!
@carol_stirling@dbseymour To see who caused the crisis you need to go back to Helen Clark’s tenure who allowed building consents to drop from 33,000 per year to just 4,000 when she was finally voted out. This destroyed supply = supply and demand issue. It’s all on NZ Stats for anyone to see
Any informed medical (or non medical) person could see this. We were horrified that it took so long to make use of our best defence and control our border properly. It should have been border first, then lockdown only if still needed. Not the other way around.
@MomoStJohn The media simply cannot ask the questions because they are not allowed to. Heavy censorship is at play here. You will only ask what I want you to ask is the order of the day at the moment. We are not living in a democracy right now.
@UCUltrasound Kelvin I’m keen to know your thoughts on asymptomatic transmission and if you consider asymptomatic cases “super spreaders”? It doesn’t seem like we have any kind of policy on asymptomatic transmission. In fact WREMO say “if you’re symptom free, you don’t need PPE”.
