They want to make truth a crime.
You’ve probably heard about the Assembly of First Nations passing an emergency resolution demanding that the government make residential school “denialism” a criminal offence.
Grand Chief Garrison Settee believes that demanding evidence of unmarked graves should be considered “residential school denialism” and made into a hate crime.
But here's the problem: at sites like the one in Kamloops, ground-penetrating radar flagged anomalies that the tribe itself said it “suspects” are unmarked graves.
No excavations have been done. No bodies have been found. And yet, asking for proof could soon land you in prison.
People can lie, but we are not obliged to believe their lies. We are free to tell the truth. That is not hatred.
Section 2 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms protects freedom of conscience, thought, belief, opinion, and expression.
These rights exist for ideas that the government finds inconvenient, wrong, or threatening.
A right that only protects approved opinions is not a right. It's a permission slip.
Give the government the power to declare one historical interpretation criminal, and you've given it the power to declare any interpretation criminal.
If a historical claim is as strong as its defenders believe, it wins in open debate.
If it needs the Criminal Code to win, that says something about the confidence of the case, not the guilt of the dissenter.
The answer to an argument you hate is a better argument, not a subpoena.
The People's Party of Canada will always fight for your freedom of speech.
Don't let them criminalize the truth. Stand with us!
Canada’s economy is stalling badly.
We just endured the worst decade for real GDP growth per person since the Great Depression.
Over the past ten years, real GDP per capita limped along at an average of just 0.6% annually.
And Bloomberg’s consensus forecast for 2026? A paltry 0.7%.
Why does GDP matter?
Because family disposable income follows GDP like a shadow. Anemic economic growth resulting from lower investment means stagnant wages. Period.
The Liberals and fake Conservatives won't fix this.
The People's Party has a comprehensive plan to unleash private investment, supercharge productivity, and put more money back into your pocket:
1. Make the Accelerated Capital Cost Allowance (ACCA) permanent – Let businesses write off capital investments rapidly and skyrocket cash flow.
2. End Corporate Welfare – Zero subsidies. Zero bailouts. Zero regional development grants.
3. Introduce a flat corporate tax rate of 10% and reduce personal income tax - simplify the entire system.
4. Abolish the Capital Gains Tax.
5. Balance the Budget in One Year – Aggressively cut $65 billion in spending.
6. Deregulate – Slash red tape. Foster real, unfettered competition.
The PPC is the only national party offering real solutions.
Canada's bloated bureaucracy is killing us! StatsCan Jan 2026: 4.6M public sector jobs out of 18.4M total or 25% of workforce, up from 22% in 90s. Public sector grew 27% thru 2024 vs the private sectors measly 13.4%. Public sector earns 4.8% more while taxpayers foot the bill! This fuels massive deficits, crushes our productivity, and strangles the economy. Carney's "cuts" of 16K over 3 yrs? Pathetic band-aid on a hemorrhage. Time to slash govt fat, cut taxes, regulations and unleash the private sector!
Sir, the most efficient way to leave people more in their bank account is to take less out of their paychecks!
Canadians, please comment below, help your prime minister!
Minister of Canadian Identity Marc Miller:
"We're establishing a $200 million endowment fund to provide sustainable funding for black-led, black-focused, and black-serving organizations.
This is what Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion looks like."
Not sure how taking people's money and handing it over to one specific group of people based on their physical attributes who only serve others with the same physical attributes is inclusive.
How does this make any sense?
I'm sure some will say it's racist to oppose this mockery of meritocracy – and that's exactly why the term 'racist' has lost all meaning.
Brian Giesbrecht: “There was one Canadian who saw very clearly, years ago, what a dead end supply management was for Canada - a system that no self-respecting Conservative should support. This was Max Bernier.
(…) We should have listened to Max Bernier in 2017.”
Canada, please remember: politicians are not victims of circumstance.
Politicians make choices.
And when those choices hurt you, your family, and your future, don’t let them shrug and say “I had no option.”
They did. They just didn’t choose you.
Ontario students are struggling at math.
My students performed VERY well on EQAO tests.
I was fired from teaching for not CELEBRATING LGBTQ with students.
I'm a Christian.
My union (ETFO) dropped me.
I see them in court next week.
They promote LGBTQ MATH.
It's not working.
LOST FREEDOM FILES # 2023
“We know that when Jesus appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2
“Those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.” Romans 8:29
@MarcMillerVM Yeahhh... If you are a believer, you need to repent and step down from leadership. Your position here (and elsewhere) show you are unqualified to distinguish good from evil and therefore incapable of upholding your office rightly.
For any Christian who wants more context on this clip posted by Canada Proud, it would be in your best interest to hear what was said before that led to this absurd conflation and disingenuous leap of logic from talking about Islamic Jihadists asking for the extermination of Jews to the Christian Bible as being equivalently hateful from MP Marc Miller.
The witness, a Christian Lawyer, Derek Ross responded to him perfectly by stating:
"I don't agree Mr. Chair... If members of Parliament are of the view that passages in the Bible are hateful, I think that is something Canadians should be made aware of... The courts for example can't decide for example, if Jesus Christ objectively is the Son of God."
Amen and Amen
God Bless Mr. Ross
I'm placing the Parlvu link (start at 16:04:00) and Derek's X account in the comments if you want to follow him and send him a word of thanks.
This is a moral test for @PierrePoilievre :
If he apologizes for telling the truth, he is a liar.
If he apologizes because of the elitist dogpile, he is a coward.
He would prove the effectiveness of public shaming.
He must not surrender an inch of ground.
@JustinTrudeau belongs in jail.
The @rcmpgrcpolice have failed in their mandate to Canadians to uphold the rule of law.
It is the duty of the Formal Opposition @CPC_HQ to let the powerful know they are not above the law.
Do not falter.
The Conservative Party that was shaped by the nation-building of Sir John A. Macdonald, the moral conviction of John Diefenbaker, the bold ambition of Brian Mulroney, and the steady discipline of Stephen Harper is far greater than any one man.
It is a party rooted in history, principle, and purpose, a party built to serve the country, not the ego of a single leader.
No individual, no matter how loud or popular, has the right to rewrite that legacy or distort it into something it was never meant to be.
This week, Poilievre accused Prime Minister Justin Trudeau of committing what he described as the worst possible offence for a head of government, violating the Criminal Code and escaping justice. He claimed that Trudeau’s free vacation from the Aga Khan was a clear-cut criminal breach and that the RCMP deliberately chose not to lay charges.
Poilievre went further, declaring that Trudeau should have been criminally charged and sent to jail. He went as far as accusing the RCMP leadership of being “despicable” and actively shielding the Liberal government from prosecution.
In a rule-of-law democracy, no opposition leader should ever call for a prime minister or any political rival to be jailed. It undermines confidence in our justice system, our federal police and ultimately the Crown. That kind of rhetoric isn’t strength, it’s recklessness and it shows a leadership approach that remains rooted in grievance rather than governance.
Months after losing the federal election, Poilievre seems not to have learned the lessons of his electoral defeat.
For all the fiery slogans and viral clips, Canadians saw through the performance. What they needed was a prime minister-in-waiting. What they got was a man addicted to opposition, stuck
Months later, there’s little evidence he has reflected, adapted, or grown. If anything, he seems more committed than ever to the very approach that cost him credibility with the voters he most needed to win.

Chris Barber and Tamara Lich deserve to have bronze statues erected in their honour in front of Canada’s Parliament Buildings. Along with many others, they courageously resisted statism at great personal cost. May God bless them for their service to all Canadians. History will be kind to them.
@ostrachan Agreed. It's a frustratingly stupid and wicked equivalence. Yes, certain cultures have evil practices and tendencies, and no, that has nothing to do with their skin color.
This is an extremely important point. There is a false equivalence being made in the world of firearm regulations and it is a perversion of Justice. Regardless of your view on guns this kind of lawmaking bodes ill for a nation.
No.
The people with "bad intentions" are not licensed, law-abiding firearms owners, who contribute virtually nothing to gun crime statistics.
The people with "bad intentions" are the criminals with ILLEGAL guns who continue to murder innocent Canadian citizens, with almost ZERO punishment.
The confiscation of firearms and private property from innocent, law-abiding citizens, while simultaneously refusing to protect them from violent criminals, is unacceptable.
This lunatic frames the innocent as guilty.
She also suggests a moral equivalency between an innocent, licensed civilian who purchased a firearm legally, which was then arbitrarily designated 'prohibited' AFTER their lawful purchase, and ACTUAL criminals who murder people.
Don't miss how insidious that is.
Come to think of it, the people with "bad intentions" are clearly our present ruling class.
And that's why every citizen needs firearms.
