Reintroducing the SIK Staff: Rylee Hackmann
As another year of high school sports gets underway across Kansas, Sports in Kansas is reintroducing the people behind the cameras, interviews, stories and coverage. From Friday night sidelines to state championship venues, the SIK staff travels across the state to highlight the athletes, coaches and communities that make Kansas high school sports special.
Meet Rylee Hackmann, a Sports in Kansas content creator/reporter covering Western Kansas.
A graduate of Basehor-Linwood High School, Hackmann was involved as the football, wrestling and baseball manager. Now entering her second year with Sports in Kansas, she has traded being part of the action at the high school level for helping showcase it across the state. Wrestling tops Hackmann's list of favorite sports to cover, and fittingly, one of her favorite events she's attended for SIK was the Class 3-2-1A State Wrestling Championships.
With another full year of Kansas high school sports ahead, Hackmann is ready to get back behind the camera and tell more stories from across the state.
"I'm so excited to get back out and interview some of the most talented athletes across the state of Kansas!" Hackmann said.
