@kristenhowerton @CLFrysig It’s not dismissive of our feelings of the way the world is. Feelings are valid. It’s saying “yes this sucks, but my God is bigger”. You can feel discomfort and still believe God is on the throne of your life.

As a Christian the statement “Jesus is still on the throne” should be the faith you hold knowing that no matter what happens in society, (even if we don’t agree with it) you can have faith that GOD is in control and that he reigns, and that is not manipulative, it’s the Bible.

@FrogPreacher Saying that’s Jesus is King is all that the Bible is about. That’s what’s wrong with this generation. Showing honor to those who are in authority no matter if you agree or not. is not respected and that’s wrong. Jesus is King and his word WILL come to pass.

@FrogPreacher By saying that is saying that whatever may happen in this life, the God I serve remains in control, remains faithful. By saying he is still King, means that if/when something does not go the way I wished it would it does not change who Jesus is and the authority he deserves.
