@IraGilligan @LizMpersonal @cordes_tax Spot on. It taught the core basics, and then a better framework for approaching and understanding the laws as they change. Knowledge base has to start at the current law regardless, so even if it were just that, it’s still helpful.

@cordes_tax My MST was invaluable, but I think you need to do it after you’ve worked in tax for a few years. Learning the law as I was actively working and applying it helped my career so much. I would not have gotten as much out of it if I had gotten it as a student with no real experience
