@siliconcow @GergelyOrosz Third, the "lock-in effects" are more of a myth... AWS, GCP, and Azure offer tools that simplify infrastructure and remove hardware maintenance. You can do all of this on your own, but you take on the additional costs of hardware, real estate, etc.

@siliconcow @GergelyOrosz Second, multi-region scaling has major benefits, including geographical load balancing. Your customer gets better response times with using physical data centers located closer to them. And, if US-EAST-1 goes down, you can scale up US-EAST-2 and US-WEST-1 to handle it.

@siliconcow @GergelyOrosz There is zero excuse not to be multi-AZ (availability zone) for a deployment. None. Zero. AZs are effectively free as they all exist within one region. Every build out should utilize multi-AZ. But, multi-AZ doesn't help with the entire region (US-EAST-1) goes down.

There are so many "jobs" but I read somewhere (and can't find it now... so take it for what it is) that only 1/8 jobs is an actual opening they are actively hiring for... and based on LinkedIn, it looks like we're competing with 100's of people for that job.

Law enforcement is not likely going to do an internal audit (if they do an investigation at all), but anything you find can be handed to them so long as it's handled correctly. Often, a #CyberSecurity incident response firm and/or attorney can help guide you on this. (2/2)

@Chrisodom37 Yes, which is why I commented that there was no atmospheric diffusion in the picture. There are certain imperfections that exist in a photograph but would not appear in a 3D render. Remember, I am a science fiction author. I know a little about space, though not as much as NASA.
