Rhetoric about anti-white prejudice is new to British politics—and dangerous. The dark turn in the populist right seems prompted by a threat, a grudge and an opportunity https://t.co/vPMyJ4LzZW
Don isn’t a trader and he doesn’t advocate that others trade. No one who follows Don cares about the short term ups and downs. Don believes we’re in a rare bull market in gold and the miners will have an outsized gain as a result. He runs a website for people who need the data to make informed decisions on which miners to place money on. He’s always been very clear that this is speculation. If you’re following him expecting him to predict the future then that’s on you, not him. His position is that the ultimate direction for the miners is up. Way up. Nothing else matters. How the individual chess pieces get moved around the board over the short term is meaningless. As long as the story hasn’t changed, then the timing could be soon or further out. Who cares. It’s not like the guy has a crystal ball an no one with a brain should expect that. The thesis we’re here to monitor is still very much intact. If you’re looking for someone to give you precise buy and sell points, that’s not what is happening here.
@DonDurrett Oh man, what an opportunity though!! Did you ever think you’d get a chance to buy Nexgold under 90 cents again? 1911 for $.50 cents??!!! Back up the truck.
@DonDurrett While I chose to sell my BTC long ago and have no interest in treading those waters again, I find you to be a fascinating person and I really find a lot of value in my GSD subscription and following you on X. I’m always interested in what you’re thinking.
Don, serious question. How can something so volatile be used as collateral? You couldn’t use Nvidia stock as collateral. Why would anyone think BTC is any different? I feel like the “collateral” thing is just another moving of the goal posts after the “digital gold” ad campaign fell apart.
@Birdyword I lived in San Diego for 17 years. I’ll never not be sad about what “they” did to that amazing city. Back in Tennessee where I belong now. CA should/ could be paradise.
@Zoomer_South I bought a BMW IX about a year ago and I’ll never own an ICE car again. Best car I’ve ever owned. I’ve enjoyed every sports car I’ve ever owned. The torque on this BMW is instantaneous. Total riot to drive. Went from $450/ month in gas to $83 extra on the electric bill.
@DonDurrett I think they give Iran the Straight and then fast track building the pipeline through Oman and try to play it off as a hollow “victory” for Iran.
@tanpukunokami Most of what Americans know about Japan comes from tv and movies. Highly fantasized versions of reality. I’d love to hear more about the real life Japan.
I’d love to hear about the things in Japan that most Americans would find “quirky”. Like, why is it considered rude to walk and eat and what’s the deal with the vending machines? Also, I’d love to hear more about Japanese culture and how it has transitioned over the centuries. For instance, Japanese culture used to be incredibly hierarchical. Is it still? How has that changed? Stuff like that.
@dougboneparth@LittleMacroBear They won’t raise taxes. That would require an honest conversation with the people. They’ll just print it and let the inflation tax cover it.
