@harrisonju Yeah, I think that’s fair. Transcription itself is still not perfect, and a lot of the important context around a meeting doesn’t actually live inside the transcript.
I built a simple meeting notes app for myself using Codex.
I had been using meeting notes services and their AI features, but over time I realized I didn’t need most of that anymore. All I really needed was a simple place to keep my notes, and a way for Codex to access them when I needed it.
So I built something much simpler, along with a Skill that lets Codex easily reference those notes.
@harrisonju That’s exactly the point for me.
I don’t really want to pay for AI summaries I’m not going to read every time. I just want the notes to exist somewhere cleanly, so when I actually need something, Codex can pull the right context at the right time.
