What happened with the XDEV account? @sheep_xxl
Does anyone know them IRL?
One of the realest & most fun people here.
“People are the ultimate asset.” - XDEV
Not only do not be intimidated by or respect someone who has the word “Chief” in their employer’s description of them, don’t respect them.
Do not respect people who present themselves as leaders from a perspective of risk, when they are an insurance salesman.
“Our edge isn’t speed; it’s endurance.”
“When we buy a company, we buy the people, the culture, the future cash flows, not a ticker symbol.”
“The key is character is business, as in life.”
These should be guiding principles for several decades from now when perhaps it will make sense for @Strategy to begin acquiring companies whole.
This is an oversimplification.
Ideas, for any mortal not named Tesla, require bringing other people in.
Jestermaxxing either way.
Either in recruiting as a founder, or, getting time with management as an investor.
@marsspitsbarz Plebs thinking they understand the operating system and incentives of world leading governments, is, without question, the highest form of comedy today.
@mattkratter@Strategy Nor was the equity ATM even being used much at that point.
There wasn’t weekly bitcoin buys back in those days. It was opportunistic CBs.
Therefore, you’re also wrong in the historical context of when fundraising methods were used.
@mattkratter Crater, the debate dodger, forgot:
(a) to use real numbers
(b) $MSTR debt was > MC at that point
That was the most dire situation in the BSE era for Micro & @Strategy
@LongInvestor85@BitStrategy21@CJ_Bitcoin I’m not looking for a salary.
I’m looking for where to spend my limited remaining time.
If I’m unable to achieve outsized equity influence & social capital to achieve my end state, then I will do something else with my limited remaining time.
@BitStrategy21@proofofworkmaxi@CJ_Bitcoin The totality of human history can largely be described as men being willing (sometimes being forced) to die for something.
And now, we’re on Twitter.
That change has allowed a ton of junk to prosper in the form of, but not limited to, scams, grifts, weak men, AI slop, etc.
@MisterLeeHODL This classic Elon 101
If I have ever seen it.
They are just selling hype.
To talk their book.
We never revisit these old claims.
So why not be hyperbolic?
