This incident happened on 13th March at Kolkata, we were allowed 1hr shopping before boarding our flight back to Malaysia, So we were informed by the tour agent Ashish from Kailash Travels to leave all of belongings in the bus as the area is well known for pickpockets

We are certain that Ashish is the culprit who stole all the Cash and the gold jewellery, the matter has been reposted to Mr Kailash and also Mr Rakesh, who is the tour agent of Indo Nepal. Address: 27/B bala Ram Boos fast lane Kolkata 20

We interrogated Ashish and he was yet denying, we questioned the tour assistant who was with the driver, and he confirmed that Ashish was the one in the bus for almost 1hour and he confirmed that he went out after that for a few minutes and got back in the bus before we arrived.

And someone lost her 10 pounds (weighing 4535.924grams) gold chain (Mangal sutra) was missing from her purse as well. We informed the tour guide Ashish, about the missing items which he denied which he informed that there were less possibilities of stealing from the bus.

One of our member discovered ringgit Malaysia RM500 was missing, and each and everyone started checking, we discovered many of their Cash was stolen totaling RM2000 was stolen.

We were only advised to carry indian rupees for shopping, to which all of us agreed. And we left Ashish, his assistant and the bus driver was waiting in the bus. When we came back after our shopping, we headed to the hotel as we needed to proceed to the airport after,
