@ehs_firebirds Excellent hire. @Lyons_J6654 gets the most out of his players and has a brilliant football mind. Beyond the football field, he is a tremendous mentor to my son and so many other current and former players. Y’all got a good one. Congrats, Coach!

@CodyTCameron @gridironarizona @KodyCullimore26 @farrel_brock @Lyons_J6654 @Dominicwillis20 Clutch in critical moments. Bub’s 4th down throw at the end of the game was put only where Kody could get it. Special players. They put in the work and are humble. Players know. Coaches know. Media is taking notice. Someone needs to offer that kid.

@CoachBartz @farrel_brock @azflamingohomes @Lyons_J6654 @Dominicwillis20 @CoachDunbar2 @JRutt_4 @spreadoption14 @CoachBlueford Best of luck coach. I appreciate your role in developing Coop as a player and man.

@COOPERSCOTT2023 @CoachKelley52 @hawkfbrecruiti1 @HighlandHawksFB @farrel_brock @CoachBartz @Lyons_J6654 @Dominicwillis20 @CoachDunbar2 I'd love to say that @CalebLomu51 & @MakuaPule became the lineman that they are from great coaching 😉, but the truth is they had to compete every day with guys like you Coop. Give em Hell!

Cooper Scott, Highland, LB/DE, 6-3, 210

He had 17 sacks this season but only one Division II offer from Black Hills State to show for it.

The transfer portal has made it harder for high school senior football players, who aren't the elite of the elite, to find a college scholarship.

[Coach Lyons @Lyons_J6654]

You get exponentially better as a defense when you have the fortune to line up against players as talented as @CalebLomu51 @MakuaPule @RiggsGunnar @ajdutchover66 !
Fantastic group of kids with some incredible coaches! (Smells offensive in here) @Guts0Glory

[Ryan @ryscottaz]

@azc_obert Good question. Keeps winning awards. Smart player, hard hitter, unbelievable work ethic, team player. An even better person.

[Richard Obert @azc_obert]

How does Highland safety Joseph Allen only have a preferred walk-on opportunity to Arizona State?

[Ryan @ryscottaz]

@CoachKGuy @azc_obert But if “Seniors” aren’t graduating out of the program because of a COVID year, there’s a logjam. Otherwise, I agree, athletes will find somewhere to play; it may just be a non-traditional route.
